Cwmaman Care Centre offers a varied and diverse programme of activities, recognising individual’s abilities and preferences in encouraging residents to retain their social and leisure interests.
Cwmaman Care Centre adapts a person centred approach of inclusion and acceptance supporting people to live as independent lives as possible. The Home recognises differing abilities and interests offering the opportunity to take part in activities such as reminiscing, baking, painting, drawing, board games, discussion groups, knitting, films, singing, quizzes, crosswords, carpet bowls, cards, gardening, skittles, armchair exercise, dancing, letter writing and individual hobbies, all of which have a positive and uplifting affect on the lives of residents.
Outside of the Home residents enjoy visits to the theatre, cream tea lunches, day trips and meals out. The local community is invited to join us as we celebrate occasions and events such as National Care Home Open Day, raising funds for charities and the holding of fetes. The Home exudes a warm friendly atmosphere as staff, families and volunteers work together to assist residents to lead meaningful and stimulating lives during their stay at Cwmaman Care Centre.
